ER TAGS South Africa uses industry-wide technologies such as ‘cookies’ to collect information about the use of the website, your preferences and past browsing history.  This will allow  ER TAGS South Africa to improve its services and your experience when you use the website again. The cookies do not collect any personal information. The information obtained will be shared with persons or entities to the extent necessary for them to administer and improve the website on our behalf.

Website Analytics

Data Retention

For users that register on our website (if any), we store the personal information they provide in their user profile.  All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username).  For users that submit online enquiries, we store the personal information they provide for 12 months.  Website administrators can also see and edit that information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included.
